We rescued Heidi from a pound when she was due to be put down the next day. She was an escapist and very naughty. Now she is older she is very faithful. When we were living apart and Amber was living with me, Heidi escaped from the other house and ran to my car and would not get out. She was desperate to go to her friend Amber.
Rescatamos a Heidi de un REFUGIO donde sería sacrificada al día siguiente. Se escapaba a menudo y era muy mala. Ahora está más vieja y es muy fiel. Cuando nosotros vivíamos separados y Amber vivía conmigo, Heidi escapó de la otra casa y corrió a mi auto y no quería salir. Estaba desesperada por ir con su amiga, Amber.

One day in Spain, we were walking with Amber. From behind some rubbish in the street, two tiny black puppies came. They went underneath Amber and walked all the way home underneath Amber. They were Perry and Hiccup. Perry was tired because he had tried to take care of his sister Hiccup. After a fight with another dog, Perry is now the boss. He takes care of the smaller dogs if one of the others is aggressive or if they are frightened.
Un día en España, caminabamos con Amber. Por detrás de unas bolsas de basura en la calle, aparecieron dos cachorritos negros. Se pusieron debajo Amber y caminaron hasta la casa de esta manera. Eran Perry e Hiccup. Perry estaba cansado porque había estado cuidando a su hermana Hiccup. Luego de una pelea con un otro perro, Perry ahora es el jefe. Él defiende a los perros más pequeños si alguno de los grandes es agresivo con ellos o si le tienen miedo.

We found Trusty hiding in a box in the refuge in Pilar. He was terrified and only shook when we held him. Now he is confident and runs around the garden, often chasing Perry and Hiccup. But he is still nervous of new people.
Encontramos a Trusty (Fiel) escondido en una caja en el refugio en Pilar. Se aterró y tembló cuando lo sostuvo. Ahora está seguro y corre alrededor del jardín, a menudo persiguiendo a Perry e Hiccup. Pero todavía se pone nervioso cuando conoce personas nuevas.

Stripe was another nervous dog from the refuge. She is still timid, but very demanding, wanting to be stroked a lot. Someitmes she plays with the bigger dogs and loves to pretend to fight Perry.
Stripe (Raya) era otra perra nerviosa del refugio. Todavía es un poco tímida, pero muy demandante, necesita que la acaricien mucho. A veces juega con los perros que son más grandes que ella y le encanta jugar a la lucha con Perry.

Corcho had been returned to the refuge twice, by families who did not want him. They said he only layed in a corner and did nothing. He is so different now. Yes, sometimes he lays in a corner, but he loves to run with the other dogs and to play. He loves to tease us and thinks he is a guard dog at the front gate, barking a lot at anyone who walks past the house. He loves to be with Perry, who is his big protector.
A Corcho lo devolvieron al Refugio 2 veces, fueron familias que no lo querían porque "se ponía en una esquina y no hacía nada". Es tan diferente ahora. Sí, a veces se pone en una esquina, pero a él le encanta correr con los otros perros y jugar. También le gusta embromarnos y se cree perro guardián en el portón delantero, ladra mucho cuando pasa gente frente a la casa. A él le encanta estar con Perry, que es su gran protector.

Buby (sponsored) is the first dog who we are taking care of for someone else. She seemed frightened of us at first, for approximately the first five minutes. She is very loving and always wants to be with us. She can be a little agressive with other dogs. She cried for an hour the first two nights she was left alone with the other dogs, but now she is fine. (Perry and Amber comforted her on her first night.)
Buby es el primer perro que cuidamos para otra persona. Se asustaba de nosotros al principio, por aproximadamente los primeros cinco minutos. Es muy amorosa y siempre quiere estar con nosotros. Puede ser un poco agresiva con otros perros. Lloró por una hora las primeras dos noches que se quedaba sola con los demás perros, pero ahora está bien. (Perry y Amber la contuvieron en sus primeras noches).

Biscuit. Biscuit was one of three puppies abandoned with their mother in a cardboard box 200 metres from our house. The mother ran far away, and the puppies were very hungry and thirsty, and covered in fleas, so we have taken the puppies to take care of. We didn't really want MORE dogs, but we couldn't leave them to die in the street so we are looking for homes for them. (The marks on their faces are grass seeds - they had been rolling in the grass)
Biscuit. Biscuit era uno de tres cachorros se abandonaron con su madre en un cartón 200 metros de nuestra casa. La madre corrió lejos, y los cachorros estaban muy hambrientos y sedientos, y cubrió en pulgas, para que hemos tomado los cachorros tomar cuidado de. No queríamos verdaderamente MAS perros, pero no podíamos salir morirse en la calle para que buscamos hogares por ellos. (Las marcas en sus caras son césped sembra - habían rodado en el césped)

Betty. We had seen this beautiful frightened animal many times at the refuge, but noticed her especially one day when she panicked when we went to her. She is timid, but already loves to lay on our bed.
Betty. Habíamos visto este linda asustó animal mucha veces al refugio, pero dio cuenta de ella sobre todo un día cuando ella pánico cuando fuimos a ella. Está tímida, pero ya le encanta poner en nuestra cama.

Snowy. We found Snowy in the plaza in Moreno, covered in Mange. We brought him home, but a girl asked us where we were taking him. Almost a week later a couple came to visit us and see Snowy. They had started to treat his mange whilest he was in the Square. We discovered that they live close to us and have 12 dogs and 26 cats. After they met all of our animals, we were invited to visit them the next day. If our animals have a good life, theirs have luxury, especially the cats! Snowy has quickly become accepted by our other dogs and is very friendly and loves to play.
Snowy. Encontramos Snowy (Nevado) en la plaza en Moreno, cubrió en Sarna. Le trajimos hogar, pero una chica nos preguntó donde lo tomábamos. Casi una semana más tarde un pareja vino a visitarnos y ve Snowy. Habían comenzado tratar su sarna mientras estaba en la Plaza. Descubrimos que viven cerca de nosotros y tenemos 12 perros y 26 gatos. Después de que encontraron todo de nuestros animales, se invitamos a visitarlos el día próximo. ¡Si nuestros animales tienen una vida buena, suyos tiene lujo, sobre todo los gatos! Snowy ha vuelto rápidamente aceptó por nuestros otros perros y está muy amistoso y le gusta a jugar.

Rosie. We think that Rosie is from the same litter as Biscuit, Socks and Daisy. She lived on the street with another puppy, probably her brother. They disappeared for some weeks. When she reappeared without her brother she was in very poor condition, so we have taken her.
Rosie. Pensamos que Rosie es de la misma camada como Biscuit, Socks y Daisy. Vivió en la calle con otro cachorro, probablemente su hermano. Desaparecieron por unas semanas. Cuando reapareció sin su hermano que estaba en condición muy pobre, para que la hemos tomado.
